ITHACA CLOCKS
The Ithaca calendar clock company formed in 1865 went out of business in 1918. The clocks were made from cherry, walnut, and mahogany. Ithaca Clock Company made dozens of models ranging from 16 to 72 inches. The more popular models for today’s collectors include office hanging figure 8, 10 farmers, #3 ½ parlor, early farmers curve top, shelf Belgrade cottage #6, and the library octagon. The company in 1875 started making grandfather clocks and they remain popular today.
